Maggie Alonso + Michael Nichols | Engagement Shoot | Railroad Park | Birmingham, AL

A glorious shoot at what is becoming one of my favorite locations.  Maggie seems to be absolutely smitten with Michael, and Michael was very laid back and just wanted all the happiness in the world for Maggie. They share a love of the Broncos, and the Braves, and I'm so happy they chose me to photograph them just being themselves.

Osborne | Senior Shoot | Avondale Park | Birmingham, AL

Peekay wants to go to school to be an Aeronautical Engineer.  I once considered that particular field of study, so I find this kid to be particularly cool and interesting. He currently is a senior at the Birmingham School of Fine Arts, he loves Physics (could he be more awesome?), and I wish him all the best in the future.  And Peekay..... War Eagle!!

Fleming | Helena, AL

Hero's come in all shapes and sizes.  This Helen Hunt/ Laura Dern look-alike is just that. A hero. To 2 beautiful boys that she took into her home for a short time.  They already adored her and called her mama.  While I'm unable to post photos of the precious littles, I have a few of this beautiful lady and her dog.  She does it all. Alone. And what she does is nothing short of AMAZING. I felt so blessed to be a witness to this act of selflessness and love.

Holcombe Family | Downtown Columbiana, AL

Meet the sweet Holcombe Family; Chris, Cassie, and little Caraline. This family of 3 will soon be a family of 4! It was my pleasure to be able to help them capture some memories of this trio. Don't be fooled by all the warmth in these photos, this was another very cold/windy day in Alabama. Shoot number 2 for Honduras was a total success! Here are a few of my favorites.

Charity Moore | Helena Depot 25th Birthday Shoot | Helena, AL

To kick off a HUGE series of photoshoots from now until November, while I'm raising money for my husband and I to take a mission trip to Honduras with our church, I got to start with Miss Charity Moore. Despite the feeling of ice cold wind and almost no sun to warm her, she was determined to have this shoot to commemorate her 25th birthday.  What a trooper! Charity brought along her best friend for support and a few outfit changes. We had a fantastic time. It was my pleasure to meet her and I'm so very grateful she chose to support my cause.

Tracy+Brian Thompson | Horton Mill Bridge Wedding | Capps Cove Reception | Onteona, AL

I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful wedding in a beautiful location on one of the most pleasant days of the year.  Tracy and Brian were married in a quaint Bridge-side ceremony among a few family and close friends. The bridge was a favorite spot of the grooms mother before she passed less than a year before the wedding, and was also named after a member of the groom's family.  The lovely reception, for family and friends alike, took place at Capps Cove bed and breakfast.  This was such a wonderfully enjoyable experience. Congratulations to Tracy and Brian on your new adventure together.
